A Karaoke Caper in Microsoft Loop

A short tale about Karaoke and Microsoft Loop demonstrating some of the features within Microsoft Teams and Office 365, and some areas for improvement.

At the April Microsoft Loop User Group I shared a nifty little story about how a member of our team posted a Microsoft Loop to start a Karaoke song list, and how it uncovered collaborative benefits as well as areas for improvement.

Summary

  • Loop is great for gathering ideas in a meeting
  • Chat moves quickly and Loop with it
  • Pinning and tab experience not great
  • Search in Teams finds Loop files
  • No dark mode for look in web view
  • Loops display as a component in meeting chat
  • Channel meeting chat doesn’t keep the Loop view
