Podcast addict – What I'm listening to March 2020

Here three podcasts that I have on rotation at the moment. Very different topics, all high production and entertainment value.
Marshmallow time
True confessions.
I LOVE the series Veronica Mars. I watched it as it came to air, and have re-watched it many times. It’s a guilty pleasure for sure, but I am happy to admit I am 100% Marshmallow.
Veronica Mars investigations is like re-watching the show over wine and cheese with a couple of girlfriends. It’s hosted by Helen Zaltzman (who is behind another fave of mine, The Allusionist) and Jenny Owen Youngs (amazing musician with the BEST laugh).
If you haven’t seen it yet, watch and follow along with the pod-cast for funny commentary and real-world perspectives on the activities of the Neptune residents. I have listened to all episodes to date, very much looking forward to Season 2.
Episodes are about an hour, good for cleaning or a long walk.
Trump Con Law
I don’t consume a lot of political content, but the Trump administration is fascinating. Roman Mars, the host of 99% Invisible, joins forces with his neighbour Elizabeth Joh who is a law professor at UC Davis Law school.
Their conversations delve into the actions of Trump and how they are challenging American constitutional law in a way we have never seen before.
It’s just fascinating. Episodes are about 30 minutes which are great for a quick walk.
Pessimists archive
Resistance to change is not new. Pessimists archive is a delightful insight in to how people reacted to changes in the past which are commonplace today. From chess to dancing, at some point it was new and people were there complaining about how this strange new thing was going to bring the end of times.
I am not all the way through this one yet, but am enjoying it so much I think it rates a mention.
Episodes are about 30 minutes which is good for a short drive.
