April is about Autism Awareness and to spread the message Melbourne’s I CAN Network has released their flagship publication Game Change: The I CAN Network Story. Their report celebrates the achievements of young people on the autism spectrum who are mentors and mentees in this unique network.

Month two of drawing daily #todaysdoodle

After my first month of drawing daily one learning was that introducing variety into the practice would add to the challenge. Hence month two of daily drawings I chose a different medium, graphite pencil.

This Thursday just gone I was at the Product Anonymous monthly meetup ‘Product Managers are from Pluto, UXers are from Uranus’. The meetup was hosted by Aconex who were most gracious hosts, opening up their kitchen and meeting area with beer on tap and more pizza than I can ever remember seeing at one time.

Schedule tweets with images using Twitter

There are many awesome things about Hootsuite as a tool for social media monitoring, but one of my biggest frustrations has been how poorly it handles scheduling tweets with images.When you post with Hootsuite it treats the image as a link. That means it doesn’t display your lovely image in the feed, almost defeating the purpose of using the image.
