Do-it-yourself intranet personas
When considering what topic I could present about at this week’s Ark Intranet Yousability forum intranet personas were not far from my mind. It’s something that comes up for a lot of intranet managers.
Our fabulous web team recently launched a new website. They needed something pretty and different for their 404 page, the page that all things going well should never be seen by site visitors. I was chuffed to be invited to design it for them and went away to illustrate some cute 404 pages.
I was beyond chuffed to have my 10 minute talk voted in by attendees as one of the 12 they wanted to hear at UX Australia 2013. I took the UX Australia audience through my experience as an art student through to discovering sketchnoting and finished with my 7 tips for getting started as a sketchnoter.
While reading this CMSWire article on SharePoint Social vs. Yammer Microsoft’s Yammer infographic and the tagline “the most complete solution in the marketplace” started me thinking. The marketplace has so many intranet technology solutions that claim to do everything. Can there ever actually be a “complete solution” for intranets or enterprise social?
