Inktober week 3

Days 14-20 of Inktober 2019. A week and a bit to go. The daily habit is feeling natural again and I am enjoying challenging my brain with different ideas.
A new week a new colour post-it note, to mix it up. I am sticking with the fine liners. Still cannot find my Copic liner so have mostly been relying on a Stabilo 0.4 point 88. Takes a bit of time to warm up and get smooth.
Day 15 – Overgrown
Initially I wanted to do an overgrown garden, but decided against it as it was too close to how I draw day-to-day. So hairy it is… and who can resist adorable Cousin It.
Day 16 – Legend
A suggestion from my husband. I love that it is a little meta (if you know the reference). Legend the movie, and Tim Curry who plays the character, absolute legend. This is my favourite of the week.
Day 17 – Wild
Man – the wildest thing of all.
Day 17 – Ornament
Desperately avoiding drawing a Christmas ornament, I thought of household ornaments and ornamental furniture. So I thought an ornamental mantle piece with some ornaments would meet the brief.
Day 18 – Misfit
The dictionary does become a help with deciding what to draw. I first thought of misfit, as in a delinquent. But husband thought of this type of misfit… and the dictionary agrees. Bonus: One of my favourite items of classic Tupperware and essential childhood toy.
Day 19 – Sling
Was very tempted to draw a slingshot for this day. But time limitations and the slight obscurity of this one meant I went down the cocktail path.
Day 20 – Tread
Tyre tread, shoe tread, tread lightly. Where do you most need to tread lightly… on a dangerous path. Comment if you get the reference.
11 days
